I went here with my mother and sister this afternoon, after debating for a good 15 minutes on where to go because Chuy's was packed (as usual). From the moment we went in the place, it felt like I was not welcome. The ladies working there are dressed like Hooter's rejects and are only nice to older men. I ordered the grilled shrimp po-boy and the corn/crab chowder. The chowder was ok, but a little too sweet. Once I got the sandwich, the shrimp overwhelmed it, slopping out of the sides. I still decided to give it a try. It was nasty. The shrimp was too salty and cold. The bread was bland. It was slippery as well. I only had a bite of the sandwich, then put it down. I explained politely that I just didn't like the flavor to the waitress. Later, she gave me the dirtiest look as if I did something wrong. She still charged us for the sandwich. If you are considering going here, don't go unless you want to be treated poorly.
Pros: nothing
Cons: bad service, bad food, unwelcoming atmosphere
