Best

All sorts of palces have crazy pizza...this is the best. Barcecue chicken is my fave...

Worst

My wife and I have been there a few times but stopped going because the service was terrible; the staff acted as if they'd been sentenced there to community service and the food (...

CAIOTI? Love it! 7/9/2003

Great California Pizza, Wonderful Salads - I prefer the Chopped Salad but The THE SALAD, and the Spinach Salad are terrific. The entreés are excellent. Last week, one special was Pork Tenderlion in a Merlot Sauce - YUM! BYOB of wine since they don't serve alcohol. This is my neighborhood eatery. And stay away from the outdoor tables, one of those is MINE! Pros: Personable Staff, Great Pizza, Inexpensive Cons: No A/C more

I do like the food here. It's good if you like gourmet pizza. I must warn you that the crust can sometimes be on the soggy side but it does not bother me. You also will not have a big selection on toppings. My grandmother will not eat here because she thinks it's too expensive for what you get. She also does not like the sour faced servers. My friends and family in that area prefer Joe peeps pizza. Cons: expensive, slow service, bored looking servers more

Great Food 12/24/2002

This is a really special place. The food is great and the setting cute. It's not intimate for dining, but it certainly speaks to a California Tradition. Worth the ride. Pros: Food, Price, Pizza Cons: Parking, Waits (sometime) more

Another thousand Mile Journey! 12/6/2002

You may have read my previous review. I traveled out to Los Angeles in October for a weekend of Woody Herman concerts and celebrations and had the opportunity to dine at both Bice Mercato and Vert at the Hollywood-Highland center, as well as a few catered events. Vert has its charms (and good food as well) but the most memorable dinner of the weekend was at Caioti. Our guests were typically jaded Los Angelenos, and here we were having a tough time deciding what to have. Every choice more than satisfied. As always, the food great and service impeccable. A MUST VISIT if you visit Los Angeles. Pros: Food, Service Cons: Parking more
