Yes, this is a cozy place for a warm drink. Lots of places to sit and open the latest of all coffeehouses in town. BUT, the owner is incredibly rude from beginning to end. Not a smile, no nice words and very curt. My friends had a business meeting there that was just cut short due to an emergency at home and as they left, the owner yelled over the whole place "I'm going to charge you two a sitting fee" as they had not had time to place drink orders. And the old lady DID charge them, they paid and left humiliated. You're warned. more

Don't waste your time!? - ? - 2010-08-08 This place should be closed down, their outlook on how to treat people borders on cruelty. Imagine the first thing you see on the door is that restrooms are for patrons only, are you serious? Then another sign saying if you sit down you need to order something... We went into this place only because we were really thirsty , when we went to pay the girl behind the counter said they only take cash, another joke... My GF walked to the cash machine and I waited there the girl behind the counter took our drinks back behind the counter, as if my GF were not going to come back and I were going to steal the teas that probably cost them a whole dollar, I should have left at this point. As I waited the place got a little crowded when my GF came back to pay there was a line , instead of the girl and the crabby old lady behind the counter taking care of her since she knew we had been waiting they didn't even look up. When my GF finally asked to pay the people on line were rude and so were the young girl and crabby old lady, the rudeness of the old lady was reflected by the customers, we wound up leaving without our drinks. So the money hungry mongering backfired on them, hopefully this place will not last much longer as they think they are being "high class" by imposing all these ridiculous, childish, third rate restrictions, this place has no class at all and honestly not a great selection. We found another place and had the exact opposite experience I wish I could remember the name of the place. I never write reviews so this had to be an exceptionally bad experience for me to do so. I have been going to this cafe for years now, off and on, but always being a loyal patron. First of all, they DO have excellent coffee. The Organic Blend, hot or iced, is delicious, and their prices are reasonable. Also, their pastries are all delectable, esp. their huge eclairs. There is nothing sweet about their service, however. Beware: if you go in planning on just sitting down with a friend or two who have ordered coffees, be prepared to be harrassed. You MUST purchase something to sit down, use the bathroom, or even grab a spoonful of sugar at the free fixings area. A little too pretentious and uptight to be considered a nice coffeehouse, but grab a cup to go and enjoy freedom from annoying and bitchy old ladies who enjoy bombarding their patrons, no matter how many times you've been there. more
