Great little spot 8/4/2010

I lucked out on a great deal via Eversave that allowed me to try out this cute little spot. It's a little difficult to get to but well worth the trip. I've had the beet sandwich (OMG) and the roasted vegetable sandwich both were delicious and very pretty to look at. When you walk in you're greeted with a cooler housing unfinished sandwich fillings. Upon order they fresh cut the bread and use this nifty contraption to deposit the filling within. You can pair these with chips, an array of ""fancy"" juices and waters or a variety of baked goods. It's a bit on the pricey side which means I can't come here every day but it's a treat when I can. more

Great Sandwiches, Euro Style 4/30/2010

When I first walked in to Aristo Cafe, I was immediately reminded of cafes in Europe where everything is laid out beautifully. The sandwiches are both elegant looking and delicious to eat, their desserts are lovely, and their croissants and scones are super. (I adore their cranberry-orange scones.) Their snack offerings show taste and imagination. The address is State Street but the entrance is actually around the corner on Merchants Row so it may be a bit hard to find, but it is definitely worth checking out! Pros: Good Food, Nice Staff, Good Coffee Selection Cons: Non-obvious Location more
