We were having a great meal at Cafe Sparrow to celebrate Father's day when we were interrupted by I believe the owner, who asked if we could keep our 13 month old quiet. We were shocked, especially since we are not novices when we take our child out to eat, which is quite often. What were we to do? My husband joked, if they had any duct tape in the back or a muzzle because our daughter was sitting at the table making normal, happy baby babble. \r

It was near the end of our meal and our little one was sitting at the table for over an hour, but was still as happy as can be. I know the tables are fairly close in proximity to one another and I am more than understanding if she was screaming and crying in the restaurant, but she was not. We have never been treated so rudely and were shocked. My husband actually asked if she (""she"" was not our waitress and did not introduce herself, we only assume she was an owner) was kidding because he thought she was coming over to be friendly and compliment us on how well behaved our child was after sitting at the table for over an hour. Our whole table of six adults wanted to leave right then and there. My stepdad said he would never eat there again. My aunt and uncle felt the same way. I don't think I'll ever go back there, no matter how good the food was.
