Worst

Only 5 people the night I was there and service took forever. The lettuce in the salad was wilted and that was the best part of the meal. Cons: every thing

One of the worst experiences 9/12/2009

My new Paella spot 9/7/2009

A couple of our favorite paella places fell victims to this crazy economy, so we've been looking for a new restaurant that serves it properly, and we found it! Pros: Food quality, attentive servers, prices Cons: parking more

horrible experience 9/4/2009

the chicken soup tasted like out of the can, the caldo gallego was tasteless, the house salad was pathetic with few lettuce & one tomato. the server refused to serve us the coffee that was part of the meal saying one of us already had it. never mind that it was billed separately. that's kind of dishonest. we were not crazy about drinking the coffee, but its the principle of the thing. you advertised it, you serve it. the food didn't lived up to the price tag. Pros: the paella tasted good but there were few condiments Cons: the service was bad more

Love this restaurant ! 1/12/2009

Our group has been to Cafe Salamanca many times. We all always have the lobster. The sangria is very good. We always get a pitcher of white and one of red. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere with the strolling gutarist is very cozy. The only problem is the parking. You must ride around and find a spot. But it is well worth it ! Make a reservation for large groups. Pros: Good food, good value, nice atmosphere, wonderful staff. Cons: Street Parking more

it stinks 6/14/2008

Went there after hearing some reviews from a relative. I ordered the broiled seafood platter and not only was it tastless but it stunk as if it had been fished out of the east river.....Crossing this one off my list. Overall disappointed. This one gets two fins down. Pros: quiet environment Cons: food quality more

Love it! 3/11/2008

This is one of my favorites. All of the dishes are delicious, from the salmon to the paella to the steak. Everything is great. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The place is good for both dates and groups. I will definitely keep going back. Pros: Everything Cons: Not that convenient by public transportation more

Best Seafood! 4/17/2006

I have been going to this restaurant for years and the taste of the food is always consistent. The fries aren't greasy and the stuffed filet of sole is like no other. My dad loves to go there for the lobster, which is also great! Pros: good for family, good for couples more

Fabulous!!!! 2/22/2003

I truly had a wonderful time!! The food was fantastic, the prices were very reasonable, and yeah, the manager was a looker and so was Alejandro, the waiter. Very attentive, that's for sure. A very pleasant esperience over all!! more
