This pizza place was highly rated by locals, so we tried it during a recent summer vacation. The pizza was good, no doubt. Certainly not the best I've had but fresh, hot and reasonably fast. The pies are tossed in the front window to the delight of passersby and then shoved into one big oven for a quick bake. We tried the margharita and a jalapeno/pepperoni pie. For my own taste, I prefer more cheese, and would order extra if I went again. The jalapenos were fresh, not pickled. The decor is kitchy and at 5:00 on a weekday, the small ""shotgun"" style restaurant was packed, so we sat at a bar counter. The staff was friendly and playful. Watch out for that dangling spider over the lunch counter.
If you like beer or wine with your pizza however, no luck here. This is not a problem of this place in particular. As I understand it, the licensing laws in New Mexico are highly restrictive which is unfortunate. Call ahead to see if you can bring your own, we did not ask since we were already seated.
