I love love love this restaurant. When I lived in Boone it used to be called the Stinkin' Rose (for garlic blooms) and we even had our rehearsal dinner here. It is an underrate...

I love love love this restaurant. When I lived in Boone it used to be called the Stinkin' Rose (for garlic blooms) and we even had our rehearsal dinner here. It is an underrated and underappreciated restaurant. The seafood dishes are fantastic and even their appetizers like french fries have that special something to them. Great presentation and friendly staff. Avoid the table made of slate? it's uneven and just not useful. It's pretty though. LOL Pros: Fresh pasta dishes, flavorful original creations Cons: terrible ROCK table more

A fun night for all! 12/1/2008

Cafe Portofino's food is good, but the weekends are even better. Although you will find it very packed out, you will really enjoy their outside area as well as bar area, pool tables, dart boards and a separate area for just food. The prices are decent and you are guaranteed to have a lively night! more
