My husband and I tried Cafe Monet, as we are always looking for good dining experiences in Parker. We usually like higher end places for date nights, but also love pizza joints with the kids. We were very disappointed in our meal at Cafe Monet. Starting with the environment, it was empty other than a few tables of older adults. The decor was quite dated, and I imagine its been decades since an update. The booth was like a diner style plastic seat, lumpy and uncomfortable. A few good things: The waiter was nice enough and attentive. The wine list was very competitvely priced with some good bottles (although a short list). However, from the appetizer through the main course, the food was mostly poor, and very salty. The filet and soup were tasty, but everything else, including the veal, ""their specialty"" was difficult to eat. I am not the type to give a poor review, but this place is not for those used to well-prepared fresh food and warm, comfortable chic ambiance.
Pros: May be great for those who come for years and know what to expect
Cons: Poor food, poor ambiance
