We love good Italian food. Cafe Italia looked like a well kept local secret. Intimate outdoor seating on a warm desert evening beckoned us to the rather secluded restaurant. My husband chose a steak which the waitress described as a chef special for that evening. I chose one of two Gnocchi dinners on the menu. Both choices were flavorless disappointments. The ""ribeye"" was an inexpensive cut that cost nearly thirty dollars! My Gnocchi was supposed to be in a saffron sauce. It was a watery cream sauce with NO flavor. Would not recommend this place.
