Café Istanbul has locations in Columbus, OH and Newport, KY with a Dayton, OH location coming soon. They have Turkish food which is very similar to other Middle Eastern food but with some unusual specialties. They have several eggplant dishes, including two varieties of stuffed eggplant. I highly recommend the Appetizer Sampler platter. You get a choice of many cold appetizers including Humus, Baba Ganouj, Dolmas, and others I can't remember the names of. My favorite was a blend of spicy peppers, onions, and nuts. This is all served with lots of bread, warm from the oven. We also had a Vegetable Turlu which is a tomato, potato, green bean stew that was served with rice pilaf. The side salad was only $4.95 and was a mountainous serving large enough to share or be an entrée by itself. The Turkish coffee is VERY strong and served in little espresso-type cups. They also have a great martini list - try the Turkish Delight! Here is a link to their site which has their menu on it: http://www.cafeistanbul.com/
