Although the owner is French, he has answered the requests of his customers to add things that may not be French but is what they want to eat. Kudos to Barry for considering his customer's needs on his extensive menu. The food is outstanding, the wait staff friendly and Barry acknowledges everyone who enters and leaves. If you don't like good food, a friendly owner, neighbor-friendly staff and very affordable prices, then this is not your place. We love it . . . eat there at least once a week. Don't know where some of the people who write the negative reviews are eating, but I can guarantee you it isn't here. Had bruch with a friend on a weekday mid morning. This is a comfortable restaurant and a nice one to have conversation with someone. The service was good but not excellent. The food was terrible. The menu makes things sound ""french"" but the actual items don't make me think ""french"". Also presentation no so great. My friend had the ""veggie scramble"" and it did not look appetizing at all. She did not enjoy it. The coffee is okay...not served very hot. The prices are rediculous - meaning overpriced for bland, nothing special food. Probably won't be going back unless needing a quiet restaurant to meet with someone but will limit my food choices and may just have coffee & juice with toast. Just not excited about the items I have had there at this visit as well as previous visits. Wish it were better as it is a nice location & very comfortable. more

We held a baby shower in the banquet room last weekend and everything was wonderful! The staff was extremely friendly and they all went out of their way to ensure everything went well. The service was quick even for a large party and the food and atmosphere were great. more

The review that was done was for another location that no longer exist. Try the Cafe in Aspen Grove. You will love the food and the ambience. more

Decent food at a good price. But the name is rather deceptive. I'd say there are just as many Italian and American dishes as there are French ones. It's really just your basic sit-down American restaurant, similar to Village Inn only not such a big chain. The interior is clean. Very clean. Reminds me of a modern hospital cafeteria. Lots of old ladies eating Cobb salads. If you're looking for good French food in Denver, unfortunately, the choices are few, but I'd go with Le Central. Pros: Good price. Cons: Not a French restaurant. More like a hospital cafeteria. Try the mashed potatoes. more
