Sometimes you want to keep gems like this to yourself---if too many people learn about it, it might become harder to get reservations.
The owner/head chef is very creative: He knows his way around steak, seafood and pasta. Co-owner Peter (who makes his regulars feel like family), will probably seat you, unless Mary (the Mom), always smiling and resplendent, gets you first. And Billy, the host, will always take care of you, now matter how busy.
The food is exceptional for the price. Proper sized servings, perfect sides, and they'll try to tailor things the way you want. The ambience is a perfect blend of style and function (wait 'til you see how they create the ""stage"" for the live music). The evening music is always exceptional (did I mention there's no cover charge?).
In the 15-or-so years that I've been going here, I've yet to be disappointed.
