I know Cafe Belo because a friend of my mother knows them. This is a Brazilian restaurant. They used to be located in Somerville on Somerville Avenue. I was looking for reviews of the old one but could not find any. The old one was smaller. They are now on Washington street and part of the Cobble family. I was here the other day with him, my mother and a relative. The restaurant looked nice, they have tvs, tables and chairs, I like the atmosphere but I was unhappy with all the plastic spoons on the carpet. The staff was nice, I liked the guy at the counter he was great. They have a buffet and you just get whatever you want. The food was rice, meat, macaroni, salads etc... They also have a guy, he is in charge of the meat. You can try pork or beef. The meat is cooked but has not taste no seasonings not good at all. They charge the plate by the pound so be shocked when you see the price go over $10. We took our food to go.Their food is not worth the expensive prices. Truereview here to tell you the truth.
