Cafe Beaujolais was one of the few highlights of my trip in Mendocino. I was pleasantly surprised that how outstanding the food was. The broiled sturgeon in truffle sauce was so great that I couldn't stop eating even when I was full. The grilled sirloin in yummy (forgot what it was) sauce was another big hit. The chef's cooking skill rivals many of those celebrity chefs in the restaurant row of L. A. This is a great find!!! Pros: Outstanding food more

Exquisite! 8/12/2002

Cafe Beaujolais ranks in my top five restaurants anywhere. The entrees are always fresh, and incredibly well prepared. Nobody flavors with fresh herbs like the Beaujolais. Call a week ahead for reservations. About 15 tables. Good wine list. Pros: intense flavors, freshest ingredients, friendly staff Cons: too far away! more
