Cafe Amici's cuisine will knock your socks off and their pizza will make you forget all about Wooster Street, or anywhere in New Haven for that matter. Their prices are the most reasonable around, priced jut right for the neighborhood eatery they are. If you don't end up stuffing yourself silly, then their entree portions will provide you with lunch, and possibly even dinner, for the next day. Spread the word...Cafe Amici is the place to EAT IT!!! I'll admit, I've known the owner for years. I've followed him from every restaurant he's worked at. Regardless of how the pizza is priced (can you possible be any more nit-picky???), the value is still there and the food is very good. It's casual but not tacky - I've brought both friends and co-workers here for dinner and they've all enjoyed it. I highly recommend it. Pros: large portions, great value Cons: n/a more

My sister , mom and myself were looking for a new pizza place to go to on a Friday Night. It's a small place so we thought service would be quick. We told the waitress we needed 2 more minutes to decide on our order. She didnt come back for another 10-15 minutes! We ordered Fresh tomatoe with garlic,olive oil and basil, thinking that would already be included in making a pizza taste yummy.We knew the tomatoe would be extra , but we received our check and saw that we were charged $2 each of the seasonings which should normally just be included on the pizza, no extra charge. We had a coupon buy a large and get a free small cheese....It was only supposed to be 12.95 but instead the bill came to $20.00 not including the tip. If you ordered 2 large pizza's just imagine the price! so basically, you should just order a cheese pizza with no seasonings.!!! DONT GO THERE FOR PIZZA!!!! Pros: Ambience Cons: PRICE more
