I had a leak in my AC system and had my ceiling torn open where I could see exactly the leak coming through a rusty hole in the draining pan.
I called CACS and they sent me a technician. He came on time and diagnosed pretty much immediately that the leak was due to the rust that had made a whole in the pan (does it take a genius to see this?) and that the pan would need to be replaced.
Then, he checked other things, which I hadn't asked for, and told me the blowing wheel was dirty and the thermostat was incorrect (I know, I have been using the thermostat like this since I bought the unit, but the AC still works totally fine, and that is not what I had asked for), implying those things would need to be fixed.
He left after 20 minutes, saying he would send me a quote (I was asking for the quote to be done on the spot. These guys do this for a living, they usually know exactly how much it's going to cost).
The quote never came, although I called to ask for it 4 times, and I was promised every time that it was being sent promptly.
A few days later, I receive a $130 bill. $130 for staying 20 minutes and diagnose something a child could see??
You got to be kidding me. And I am still waiting for the quote!
Well, sorry, CACS, but I will go with someone who charges fair fees and who actually DOES the job.
Your loss.
Don't go with these guys. They are unfair and unreliable.
