love this place. as a native of tampa i try to buy locally. this is so much better meat than at the supermarkets. the people are great and they keep lovely produce, cheese and wine departments. no other place like it on this side of the bay. more

were I buy most of my meat 4/23/2012

I have recently bought a short loin made of porterhouse and T-bones 4.19 a pounds and a new York strip 3.79 which I had them light trimmed for garbage and then med trimmed the fat to put in half which I ground for hamburger and boneless chicken breasts 1.79 a pound the only reason I rate this wonderful place 4 star was when I asked for a 1.5 inch ribeye they cut it 1/2 inch which was way to thin and very fatty so ended up in the trash. more

Best International Butcher in Tampa Bay Area 12/21/2009

Meat is cut fresh and price specials are great. Deli has very good cold cuts from Italy. People are helpful and friendly. They also carry unique cuban meat cuts and deviled crab cakes. I have been going to Cacciatore Brothers for over 15 years, there is no place like it in Pinellas County. Pros: Best Source for Meat, Deli and Italian Products Cons: I drive 22 miles each way to get there more

Just one complaint 9/21/2009

I just cannot understand standing there waiting for service when several store clerks are discussing personal matters looking at people waiting and not serving them. Also, a mature woman that works as a cashier is rather unfriendly and has a sour face and acts as if the customer is bothering her when thery're trying to pay for their goods. Just earlier today about 4 pm I had to ask her to please take my money because I had to catch a bus.
