Good: We love the quality of the food at Cabanas. The portion sizes are fantastic and if you walk away hungry it is your own fault. They have a great pimento cheese appetizer, large salads, and awesome steaks, seafood, and prime rib. It is a little pricey, but worth it. Oh yeah, don't forget to try the pie!!. Bad: The service can be a little wishy washy at times, but seems to have improved as of late.. Improvements: Maybe just educate the wait staff a little better.. Other: This place is YUMMO!. more

Great Food Great Atmosphere 12/9/2008

Cabana Cafe is a wonderful place to eat. Everything on the menu is superb! The menu has so much to choose from. Whether you want a sandwich or a nice steak nothing on the menu disappoints. The portions are hugh. We always leave with enough food to eat the next day. The prices were great too. We couldn't believe how much you got for the money. If you are in Newberry you need to check it out! more

Cabanna Cafe 8/27/2005

The food here is good, but to me it is over priced for what you actually get and the area that the restaurant is in. The atmosphere is nice and is a good place for a dinner for two every once in a while. I would not go there often. They do have a good beer and wine list. Just be prepared to pay when you go. It is within walking distance to the opera house so that is a nice benefit. more
