By changing your central heat/air filters on-time you will not see as much dark grey or black around the edges of your carpet.Also when rooms are not occupied by leaving the doors open the carpet fibers against the bottom of the door will not act like a filter and get the grey or black stripe under it.Especially prevalent with lighter carpets. more
