Bill and his crew at CPR are the first source I turn to for all things automotive. I usually buy used and then I drive my vehicles into the ground, and CPR keeps them roadworthy and dependable. I get good, honest advice and I get affordable, competent mechanical expertise. Over the years they have solved my automotive headaches, big and small. I have no incentive to go elsewhere. more

The mechanics know my vehicle and keep me informed on what need to be done to keep it operating and at a low cost. 5/2/2016

Our Cars Go To CPR Automotive 12/3/2015

My wife and I both drive vehicles with 90K plus Alaskan miles on them. They look good. They run good. They are reliable in cold temperatures. There may be a small drip here or there, but hey don't make a mess of the driveway. We've had to step up to a costly repair on occasion, but our collaboration with CPR Automotive over the past several years has been key to keeping these vehicles up without spending a fortune. We believe we get good, sensible advice with CPR and there is almost always a noticeable payoff when we act on that advice. Repairs they've made are as reliable as factory new - quality parts and products, and able, skillful mechanics are worth the investment! Simply put, this is where we take our cars. Period. more

Friendly staff and seemingly honest Mechanics 9/16/2015

They're likely one of the most affordable ("fair" might be a better word) mechanics in anchorage. The people that worked there were very friendly. Particularly the man operating the phones...can't remember the name but it started with a "B". And I don't believe they lied to me in regards to price or what repairs needed to be made. The only complaint that I have is that my car was kept overnight for something that only took 1-2 hours to fix. But I consider that a minuscule complaint, considering the service was otherwise very pleasant. The fact that they kept the car overnight may also be because I brought my car in to get fixed fairly late in the day (11 AM) and I'm assuming they had other cars that they needed to prioritize. Overall great work! more

I Keep Coming Back. 5/1/2015

CPR has worked on my vehicles for a while, and it would be upsetting to me to have to take them elsewhere. Sometimes my problem is more expensive than I'd like, but I want things done right and I'm confident with CPR that I'm going to get the straight story. On several occasions they have saved me from spending unnecessarily, to the tune of a few hundred dollars. more

Good with repares, and with price ranges with in reson 3/14/2015

For meny years I have taken my car to CPR and have recomended them to others. Each time I've talked with them I say this is the problem as I know it and I can afford this but I'd like it if it were this and they work with the low number more often than not getting even lower, but if they can't they call right away and tell me why. more

I've been a client of automotive services in Anchorage for 45 years and I've had good and bad experiences. In the past few years, CPR automotive has performed major repairs and routine maintenance on my vehicles. Bill Hancock and his crew have provided top notch mechanical expertise, honest and straightforward advice and analysis, and they have saved me from some unnecessary expenditures. My vehicles tend to be trustworthy and I have never left this business with doubts about what i've paid them to do. I wish they had the facilities to handle my 31 foot motorhome. I'd bring it to them in a heartbeat! more

During a recent service Bill discovered a couple of safety issues which needed fixed. They jumped right on it and got my vehicle fixed as quickly as they could. more
