Get more references before you head out. 8/14/2005

This is a AAA approved mechanic shop but atleast the mechanic that checked out my car didn't seem to be knowledgeable. I took my car to this shop with a "check engine" light on. He hooked it to the computer and found the diagnostic codes. I think that's all he could tell me that the problem is related to exhaustion and he could not find what exactly is the problem even after spending 3 hours starting at the car. Finally he suggested replacing few parts to get this going but he didn't sound too confident so I just went to another mechanic recommended by friends. May be he is good for breaks, oil changes, AC but not sure if this mechanic can do all types of repair more
