This is a real jewel of a Restaurant. My wife and I have had the Pleasure of eating in Chinese Restaurant from Singapore, Shanghai, San Francisco and NY and C-Fu has to be one of the top Restaurant anywhere. Try French Beef Tenderloin or C-Fu Shrimp. If you can take 2 or more people, Never order one thing to eat by yourself---Always order Ala Carte. more

BEST chinese eatery in AZ 11/7/2009

This place is beautiful I just love the decor! The fish tanks make it exotic and the food is so good! The chicken is so tender unlike some other places. The iced tea is very good unlike some other places. Service is friendly and the prices are very good...They have such a wide variety of food. Can't wait to share this place with family and friends! Pros: Friendly, great prices, yummy food, large portions more

We made a mistake visiting here - horrible service and food :( 6/30/2008

Our meal started with the manager (we assume) rushing us through the ordering process and then telling us to just order more if we want it later. Pros: Nice fish tank Cons: Bad food and service more

served a health violation 3/15/2008

We were served food with multiple growths of mold and undercooked meat. There were 4 patches of mold and each were over 2 square inches in area. I researched their health inspection record and they FAILED in Feb of 2008 with FOUR violations and FAILED in 2007 with SIX health violations. Cons: moldy food more

Average, but Authentic 3/21/2007

Having lived in Asia for a few years, it was nice to taste some flavors that I hadn't had in a while. I enjoyed the food, but the service is pushy and lacking. My wife, who loves Asian food, really doesn't like this restaurant. She says the food is ""slimey""; texture is everything to her. The average american will find the food different and adventurous, and the avid Asian diner will enjoy it regardless. We have gone with a large group a few times led by a Chinese friend of ours. It was nice to have someone who knew the food and could choose for you...the chicken feet were lack-luster :) Pros: Authentic Food and Service (as far as Asian service goes) Cons: Pushy servers, no pun intended, Can get expensive more

Best Dim Sum in town 1/8/2007

fantasic authinic food. enjoy the traditional atmosphere and service. Seafood very freash and good. Lobster worth it. the array and varirty of food for dim sum is great ! Pros: authenic chinese food freash seafood Cons: big crowds on weekends more

Not good at all! 8/26/2006

The dim sum at C-fu is marginal if not downright distasteful. The ""cheung fun"" was stale and dry (if that is possible) and the ""siu mai"" had a funny aftertaste. If you can't get these two staples of dim sum right, you might as well not even try. The other dim sum was barely edible. For the first time in a long time, I left dim sum on the table unfinished. I moved from the Bay Area where the dim sum is one of the best in the U.S. and C-fu is a big disappointment. I don't mind that they charge for tea but when I requested a tea cup for my baby daughter to drink water out of (the other cups are too big for her to handle) they said they could not do so without charging an additional tea charge... Ridiculous!! The back breaker was that they charge a 15% gratuity on weekends and holidays regardless of the number of people in the party... A total outrage. I can tell you I will never go back to C-fu...EVER! Go to China King (Alma School and Ray), the dim sum is 100 times better and they don't push some BS policy about charging gratuity on the weekend. Cons: Food, Ambience, Service.. Just about everything... more

Dissapointing 8/7/2006

Maybe I should have gotten dim sum... The lo mein noodles I swear are Barilla linguini. And the shrimp was inedible- the frozen kind in the bag at safeway is better. And is was like $10. What a joke. We only went there because the overpriced sushi place next door was closed for vacation. They also charged us for tea, and I think that is lame. Pros: Nice server. Cons: Not the Freshest. Sorry. more

Authentic Style Dishes 7/16/2006

So far, this is one of teh only places thatI have been able to get ""Authentic"" style Chinese Food. The ingrediants are correct though, not always the freshest. The decoratio is typical of a Chinatown stlye restaurant, with very little attention goven to ambiance and more attention given to how many can we fit. Pros: Fast Seating, Quick Service, Good Dim Sum Selection Cons: A bit high on the sodium side, alway swell up after eating here but, like it anyway. more

great dim sum! 12/30/2005

My husband and I tried C-Fu for our first dim sum experience in the Phoenix area, and we were very happy with the quality and selection of food, and with the service. We have since tried another dim sum restaurant in Phoenix, and we much prefer C-Fu. Pros: variety of food, good parking more

User review by plating1 8/23/2005

I've been here in the past for dim sum and it's obviously had seen better times since. The atmosphere was a bit tired and the food not as fresh and tasty as before. Maybe the chefs have changed...definitely not the same. Pros: not crowded, good parking Cons: small portions, slow service more

Great dim sum, go early 4/16/2005

If you want authentic dim sum, this is the place! If you want to avoid a long wait, it's best to go early as the seating is strictly first come, first serve. The ambiance is nothing special - but it reminds me perfectly of the dim sum restaurants I grew up with in California - makes it feel just like home! Pros: Good selection, Lots of parking, don tot! Cons: VERY busy more

Dim Sum 1/29/2005

Best Dim Sum in town. If you want authentic chinese food, or never tried authentic... you have got to try C-FU. Pros: Good Food, Decent Price, Nice Place Cons: Busy more
