Amazing color and cut...finally. 3/18/2012

Finally, I got a great color and cut in Port Washington. Since moving to the area last summer, I have gotten cuts and color at a few places in town and never left completely happy. After reading reviews online, I figured my hair was in much need of a cut and some highlights and made an appt at C3. Everyone in the salon was so nice from the minute I walked in the door until I left. Carlo did my highlights and was such a nice guy. Totally listened to what I wanted and got me the perfect highlights I've wanted, but other salons never achieved. He was very diligent, fun to talk too and really knew his stuff. I then had a cut with Tony. He too, totally listened to what I wanted and was able to get me a perfect cut, even though I had messed up my own hair trying to cut it myself earlier in the week out of hair frustration. I left feeling like a million bucks. Everyone in the salon was raving about my hair when I was done and even after I left, I got compliments all day on my hair. The prices were better than other places in town so that was a big plus in itself. They are reopening in a larger space come June which will be a complete full service salon. I will def. be back. Great place. more

Love My Hair!!!!!!!! 2/13/2012

After reading such positive reviews about C3 I made an appointment with Dominic: ) ...Its been two days and my hair still looks beautiful and shiny!!! He gave me a great cut with such nice layers and kept the length like I asked for.He was so helpful and definitely knows his stuff..Im really glad I found this place.. Such a great salon with a super friendly staff!! more

AMAZING JOB!!! 1/26/2012

i went there a few days ago, to get my hair color fixed, after a really bad experience in another salon, i got an appointment for today... TOTALLY WORTH IT dominic did my hair... i'm so happy!!! it look amazing...and super healthy.. i definitely recommend this salon!! plus: everybody is so friendly! more

AMAZING 12/24/2011

I just moved and needed to find a new salon. I received a groupon offer for this 3C and decided o go for it. I had a half head of highlights, a deep conditioning treatment, and a cut, style and blow. I worked with Dominic, who was VERY polite, knowledgeable and talented!!! Everyone there was great and my hair came out amazing. I definitely found my new salon! Will be going back again and again! Would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!! more

I feel I've found a place that I can trust 10/9/2011

Everyone that handles you at C3 is very courteous and conerned about the customer's comfort and wishes - the front desk person, the hair washer...... Dominic, who cuts my hair, actually listens and makes suggestons. Its not a ""by rote"" thing. You're going to look that way for the next 2 months - they seem to get that here. And that's GREAT!! The cut Dominic gave suited me - got lots of compliments. more

Exactly what I was looking for 9/26/2011

I recently moved to the area after living in Tokyo for 3 years. I'd been holding out getting my hair cut and highlighted until I found the perfect place. I came across C3 on a Google search and after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. I received such personal, friendly, and professional service from everyone. He spent a lot of time with my highlights to get it matched exactly the way I had it. I was so impressed that when it came to my cut, I told him what I was looking for and let him do the rest. I was very happy with the results. Definitely a place to check out! more

Talented Hairstylists Can Be Found Here 8/30/2011

I went to C3 Salon because of purchasing a Groupon. It is not close to where I live in Queens but I will be returning there time and again: I was very pleased with Dominic's cut. I also purchased a leave in conditioner from C3 Salon that I like very much. In fact, now that I have discovered this product, I will not go without it and intend to try their other products which I am sure of the same caliber. The salon is clean and friendly. Be sure to check out Dominic's art work on the front wall when you go as he is an artist as well. more

Awesome first time.... 6/2/2011

I purchased a Groupon to C3 Salon because I was looking for a good salon closer to where I live. I'm very cautious when trying new places for my hair but decided, after reading the other good reviews, that I would give C3 a chance! I'm glad I did! Dominic cut my hair and gave me the look I tried explaining when I came in! It's the perfect shape for the summer and will definitley be keeping C3 in mind when I need my next cut! more

Why go into the city? 1/25/2011

Being a newly transplated New Yorker to the burbs of Port Washington, I continued to take the train into the city to get my hair cut and styled--i.e. expensive and time consuming.\r \r When I couldn't make it into the city, I took the BIG risk and had Carlo at C3 cut my hair and nearly kept my eyes closed, fearful of the outcome.\r \r It not only was a good as my fancy-schmancy, expensive stylist in Manhattan--it was one of the best cuts I ever had! I even trusted Carlo to go very, very short last summer and loved the new look!\r \r C3 is as good as any high-end salon in the city. \r \r Diane more

C3 Salon Is the best...I've tried them all 1/24/2011

If you want a friendly place to go to have your hair done where the entire staff is highly skilled, I must suggest C3 Salon.\r \r Marco, the owner, has seen me through some trying times and always managed to get my hair back on track. I adore him and his entire staff and would recommend my own mother to be a customer. She is making an appointment next week.\r \r Curly, straight, thin or coarse you'll be happy you took your coiff to C3 Salon.\r \r Happy hair days everybody\r \r more

great impression after my first visit 10/19/2010

I was searching for a good place to get a simple hair cut in the area so I found Maxx Hair on Google maps and decided to give it a try. My hair was cut by Marco, who did a great job with the mess growing on my head :-). I recommend him highly. The place is clean and conveniently located, the staff is great so I couldn't ask for more. Five stars more

Maxx Hair 10/8/2010

MAXX Hair salon is the best hair salon i've been to for quiet sometime now! As soon as you walk in everyone greets with you smiles. My hair was so damaged from me dying my hair blonde, so i decided to change it back to brown. My color now looks fantastic! You can't even notice my roots coming in, the color matches it so perfectly ! Ever since then, I've been coming to Maxx Hair Salon! Dominic did my hair before I had a job to work in the city, and my up-do lasted the whole night!! Even the next morning it still looked good. If you want your hair colored, cut, or put up I highly recommend you go to Maxx Hair! more

Love my hair 10/6/2010

I am very picky individual when it comes to having my hair done, and unfortunately not very trusting after a few horror stories but now I am happy to say that is all a thing of the past. I was fortunate enough to stumble across the Maxx Hair Salon and decided to go in for a consultation. The salon was clean and the staff was super friendly!! I had a cut done by Dominic and my color done by Carlo and I could not be happier! Dominic was friendly and professional and did an amazing job on my cut! Carlo also did a beautiful job on my color. They were very knowledgeable about all the products they used as well gave me some helpful tips on how to do my own hair with the products they sell. My first experience was such a pleasure that since then I only go to Maxx Hair and I don't think my hair has ever looked better!! =) more

Loved Every Minute of It 9/9/2010

I recently got my hair cut and styled by Dominic and I absolutely loved the whole experience. He is very professional but at the same time friendly and eager to answer all my hair questions. He was so knowledgeable about products and hair care, without being condescending or preachy (which I have gotten before from other stylists at different salons). As for the cut, we talked about what I wanted and and he gave me suggestions for my hair type and what I wanted to accomplish with the cut (aka cute and professional but not high maintenance). The end result was awesome and he even showed me different ways I could wear my new 'do. I have not had a bad hair day since I got my new cut! I am so thrilled with my hair and I will definitely go back to Dominic in the future. I would highly recommend him and the salon to others! more

Perfect Haircut and Great Experience 9/9/2010

Dominic cut my hair and I loved it. He was extremely friendly, professional and down to earth. The final cut was exactly what I wanted. He really listened to me but suggested a different way of cutting it and it was perfect. I completely trust his professional recommendations and I am glad I did! I highly recommend him and will definitely have him cut my hair again! more

We are open from Tuesday through Sunday. 2-3 Hour Metered Parking is available around the corner on Maryland right off Main Street and along Main Street there are 1 hour meters.
