Bad Idea 4/14/2010

I moved into this house a little over a year ago. I would not recommend C A Homes to anyone, in fact I wouldn't even give them the one star that I have to so this can be published. The tiles are cracked, when I asked them to fix it, they showed up unannounced and fixed a couple and left us the things to finish it on our own. They use the cheapest appliances available, more money in their pocket, my dishwasher does not work anymore. It is very difficult to get to speak to someone, once you do get to, you have to get over the attitude they have with you. My bathroom needs to me totally redone. The wooden panels outside are warped and no insulation is under them. They left holes in my walls where they repaired other things. Around the windows have cracks and holes. The sheet rock screws are coming out of the walls. The paint chips off the walls really easy. The molding has cracks in it. Carpet is cheap, wood floors are laminate and scratch and dent just by walking on them. The fence they installed will come down with a heavy wind. The backyard looks terrible, they didn't bother leveling it. Oh goodness, I can go on and on. No one I know is really happy with their choice of a C A Home, so please don't torture yourself and buy with someone else. Pros: looks nice at least when you first move in Cons: no attention to detail, just about their money more

With plenty of builders out there, don't settle for CA 12/4/2008

We have had nothing but problems with the craftsmanship in our new home built by CA Homes. The home looks very nice, but over the course of the last few months it is literally falling apart. The tile is cracking, the floor was not installed properly, the paint is very cheap and there was little attention paid to detail. We have spent countless hours on the phone, arranging for sub contractors to come back and make repairs. CA Homes has been incredibly difficult to work with. I would recommend talking with some of the neighbors in the subdivision you wish to purchase a home in- make sure that they are happy and have been pleased. Our neighbors have even talked about their roofs leaking! With plenty of builders out there, don't settle for CA Homes. Pros: looks nice, great floor plan Cons: poor craftsmanship, no pride in quality, bad customer service more

  • In Short
Festive decor of colorfully tiled tables, vintage photographs and sunny Southwestern accents welcomes an all-ages crowd at this informal hangout. Youngsters and their parents pile into dining room booths; casual business types toss back margaritas and watch televised sports at the bar. The menu features mild versions of Lone Star state favorites, from double-basted baby back ribs and steak fajitas to red-beef chili and deep-fried onions.
