Ray Murry received his J.D. degree in May 2001 from Loyola University School of Law while on active duty with the United States Coast Guard. He retired with 20 years of service from the US Coast Guard in June 2002 and began practicing law. In the Coast Guard, C. Ray was a boatswain's mate and spent his time in the maritime service on a variety of different vessels, such as a Polar Ice Breaker, USCGC Polar Star; a working river boat, USCGC Chena; a variety of Search and Rescue boats from Corpus Christi, TX to Charlevoix, MI and graduated from the prestigious USCG Heavy Weather Coxswain School. Mr. Murry has practiced in the areas of criminal prosecution, maritime personal injury and workers compensation insurance defense.
