Cherries and more 3/21/2006

C J Olson's is a produce centered store specializing in cherries (of course), dried fruit, and fresh produce. The shopping center it is in (the Chrry Orchard) is crowded, but there are some 20 minute spots to grab. Stay away at lunch time, when this place is a total zoo. P F Changs, A G Ferraris, Chipotle, and Pasta Pomodoro are nearby. more

Fruit Stand 8/10/2005

A historic spot, centrally located in Sunnyvale, this place has not lost its ambiance even after the remodel. The fruit here is great. When purchasing, knowing that this has been around for decades, you feel a continuity of time. The prices are reasonable. The quality of the fuit is great. The location is convenient, at Mathilda and El Camino in the same complex as Borders and Pasta Pmodoro more

Small town charm on a huge street... weird 8/4/2005

This is a small cherry stand/store by the street. Sticks out like a sore thumb between Pasta Pomodoro and PF Chang's, but in a good way. Everything about this little cherry stand is so cute. The hand painted signs, the line of cherries displayed on the stand, the jolly storekeeper. Reminds me of those little fruit stands you have to drive like 300 miles on a country rode to get to, but right in the heart of the city. Oh yeah, and the cherries are good too, but it really depends on what season it is. more
