Being a longtime vegetarian, I am often faced with limited choices at Chinese restaurants (basically just veggies, rice, & tofu). When I browsed Bejing Cafe's menu, I was ECSTATIC to find that they offered "fake" chicken dishes--including Kung Pao, General Gao's, and "chicken" with mixed vegetables. All are prepared like the traditional dish, but soymeat is substituted for the chicken ingredient. It is so delicious, and I am told by those that eat meat that these taste very similar to the original dish. I hope they never discontinue offering these vegetarian options. They also have a new Sushi menu, my sister really enjoyed her sushi dish. The staff there is great, were quick to fix a mix-up in our order, and are wonderful to order from on the phone. Our orders never take more than 15 minutes (we pick up).
