C & D Auto Body

C&D will now be my regular shop for maintenance, as a result of finding my way there for repairs from a minor (not my fault!) collision. In addition to the excellent work on the bumper repair, I requested they look at a persistent coolant leak. The thorough service they provided to diagnose, communicate with me about their findings, and make the repairs I authorized was textbook perfect. My vehicle is aging and has some issues that may evolve into real problems over time. The staff arranged for me to talk with the mechanic working on my car to get a sense of what may be to come. I'll be able to make an informed decision about making a switch to a newer vehicle. Would it not be in their interests to have me continue to put money in to the current car to keep it on the road? I appreciated the advice. All the work was done in a shorter time span--3 days--than Ive experienced at other shops. Everyone I encountered was pleasant, and professional. Finally, upon retrieving the car, I expected it would be shiny clean on the outside, but what a pleasant surprise to find it spiffy on the inside, too! more

They had the car fixed in the time they said they would have it fixed. They said they would have it ready by Friday and it was. They checked for other damage, the car looked great and the service was good. Dick was great and helpful. He called and told me what was going on, and that he had to order another part. more

I was in a car accident and I went to C & D Auto Body to get my car repairs done. The whole staff was just great. They went above and beyond for me. Not only was their customer service great, but they did excellent work on my car. I would advise people to not only go to them for repairs, but even maintenance work. This was my first time using them and I will use them again. more

My experience with C & D Auto Body was very good. They fixed the damage in the back end of my vehicle. They fixed it, detailed, vacuumed the inside, the whole nine yards. It looks like it just came out of the show room. more

I had no problems at all with C & D Auto Body. They coordinated the rental car for me and helped me with that. They called Friday afternoon when my car was ready, so I could pick it up, but I couldn't get out there, so I was able to get one more day with the rental. They basically did everything called me when they were ready. more

This was my first experience with C & D Auto Body. The person who hit me, insurance company recommended them to me, so I thought that would be okay. I almost went to the dealer, but I'm so glad I didn't! From the moment I went in, everyone there was so nice. They provided great customer service and really went above and beyond for me. I was really surprised at how nice their customer service was, a nice surprise since many places are so rude to their customers. They, however, really impressed me with their excellent service. The way they fixed my car was wonderful! They did a great job. If they saw something, they fixed it. Like, there was a scratch no where near where they were working, and they went ahead and fixed it too, they didn't just leave it! Everything I asked them to do, they were quick to answer "no problem". Overall, from start to finish, this was a wonderful experience! I will definitely go back to them. When my vehicle was damaged in heavy winds, I was given a list of body shops by my insurance company. C & D Auto Body happened to be closest to where I was working at the time, so I gave them a shot. When I arrived, they were ready for me, and after a very minor wait they took me to pick up my rental car, which they had arranged ahead of time with my insurance company. When the repairs where complete, they called to notify me and I went to pick up my vehicle. Before leaving, I discovered a minor issue with the door, where it was not quite closing all the way. When I brought this to their attention, they basically put everyone in the shop at my disposal to correct the issue and get me ready to go quickly. I was really impressed. In less than an hour, I was out the door. After C & D's willingness to help me out on the spot, I wouldn't hesitate in using them again, were the need to arise. They were great about communicating with my insurance company, which made everything much easier for me. Also, their reception area is very clean and nice. I've been to others that smelled bad, and weren't nearly as customer friendly. C & D got it right. Louis West more

A drunk student at UMD damaged the entire passenger side of my G35X while parking and I was very flustered. I contacted C&D Autobody because they were in the area and worked with my insurance and I never looked back. They updated me on everything that was being done to my car during the whole process and had it done in a timely manner. When I got the call to pick up my vehicle I took the UMD bus that drops you off right by the shop and I was amazed. My car looked phenomenal and better than before. C & D Auto Body repaired a dent on the back of my car. I have relied on them in the past as well because they do excellent work. They are very conscientious, and I feel that they really strive to achieve perfection, or as close as they can get, in terms of restoring the car back to how it was. more

My experience with C & D Auto Body was limited, but good. They repaired my son's vehicle when it was damaged at his university. They were located nearby and a preferred provider, so we were comfortable using their services. Everything turned out fine. We'd use them again if we had to. more

the repair was ok but i was surprised that they did not clean the car and very surprised that they did not clean the interior because during the repair they put car parts inside the car that left dirt stains everywhere john 202-704-3087 i would like to have my interior cleaned more

I was rear-ended in an accident, and C & D Auto Body replaced the back bumper and dealt with some interior damage. The other people's insurance paid, so cost wasn't an issue, but C & D Auto Body made sure to tell me about what parts were damaged and what was going on the whole time. I felt well informed. The car looks fine now, like I didn't have an accident. more

I understand we weren't able to do the repairs the first time you came in for the transmission service, we were not able to to locate the correct parts at the time. We asked you to come back after a couple of days when we had the parts to get the job done. You came back a month or two later and we did the job we were supposed to do. We're sorry for the inconvenience. more

I had the worst experience recently.I had requested them to change transmission fluid and filter along with a complete flush.The guy in the front office said YES for everything i asked.BUT, the fact is no flush, no filter change, but still they charged for the entire price.I am sure the OWNER of it is aware or not of such kind of things.OWNER.PLEASE WAKEUP!If you have time, be there till the work is get done or else ask for any parts replaced!! I am totally unhappy with the service they provided. WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN and WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE NOT TO VISIT C &D. more

they put a transmission in my car a month ago that is malfunctioning and will not fix it under warranty. the poor condition of the replacement transmission has been confirmed in writing by Ford, and the owner still will not replace or fix it. The guy is a brick wall. Ridiculous. more

These guys are good. I really liked the way they repaired my car. I have been there once for my friends car when he had a dent in his toyota corolla. They finished it for very cheap when the dealer asked for a afortune. Very noce place to go. more

If ever you have any problem with auto body works, i strongly recommend going to this place. I have many nice experiences with this shop. Especially, one Mr. Rafee is really good in car fixing and he takes care of monetory part. He can help you fixing the car. Trust me. You will never get a bad experience. more
