I took in a fairly new $350 cream-colored designer jacket to have a water mark removed from the sleeve, confident in C&C based upon their past cleaning of basic shirts. When I picked it up, the other side of the jacket was covered in bright white splotches. The proprietress treated me to a barrage of evasive and inconsistent responses when I asked her if the damage was reversible: she didn't see the damage I was talking about, I had brought in the garment with this damage, their chemicals couldn't have caused this damage, etc. I left with her promise that I would receive a call the following day to tell me whether they could fix it, that I would be refunded what I paid them, and that the jacket would be returned to me in a few days. I never heard from them again, so I went in this weekend to check on my jacket. This time the proprietress yelled at me, using the same inconsistent excuses as before, never addressing my question of whether they could repair the color damage. At one point I told her that I just wanted a straight answer because this was an expensive jacket and I hated to lose it, and in response she became wildly angry, muttering things about the damage being my fault and flat out calling me a liar about the value of my jacket (Nanette Lepore is not cheap, lady). At this point I have neither a wearable jacket nor a refund for the price I paid for their horrible service. I am gutted to have this jacket rendered unwearable and I am very offended by the unprofessional and even abusive way this woman treated me. I will never use C&C again and I would advise anyone who values their wardrobe or expects to be treated fairly and professionally to avoid this dry cleaner.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Damaged Garments, Slow Service, Unprofessional Customer Service
