I was so happy to find Rincon Dental after going to the same dentist for 4 years, never leave having my teeth feel any cleaner but always ""needing"" to get a filling. I felt suspicious and decided to switch. After meeting Dr. Byun, he said I have great teeth and did not need any fillings. I think there are many old fashion dentists out there who want to make as much money as possible, such as my previous dentist. Be aware! Carmen is great and makes the visit fly by and my teeth have never felt so clean. I would definitely recommend Rincon dental. O'yes, the rest of the staff has been very pleasant as well! Best Dentist in San Francisco 6/13/2007

The service I received at Dr. Byun's office has been exceptional. I've had a few negative experiences with other dentists in the past - but once I visited Dr. Byun I know that I now have a dentist for life. Everyone at that office is wonderful, cheerful and an absolute pleasure to be around. Dr. Byun is professional, courteous and just plain cool.... but the best part about him is that he is reasonable! I never get the feeling that I'm being recommended unnecessary work (as I have with past dentists) - all in all a great value with exceptional service more

I am so greatful to get a referral to the best Dentist in San Francisco, from start to finish everything went smoothly, from setting up my first appointment to getting some fillings taken care of, and they now have me on a regular schedule for my cleanings, I really like that even if I forget they always call me a couple of days early to remind me of my appointments. Awesome Dentist in SF! 11/30/2006

Cosmetic and general dentistry in a friendly and relaxed setting! I love the comfortable chairs and movie viewing while being worked on! The staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Byun is very honest and makes you feel like a good friend. He tells you like it is and considers your dental health priority #1. His dental services are the best I've experienced. Best Dentist Office I have been to. 11/30/2006

The friendly service, attentive staff, massage chairs instead of ""dentist chairs"", the movies strategically placed for viewing during teeth cleaning, and most importantly the non threatening smile of Dr. Byun all changed by attitude about going to the dentist. Most dentists are aggressive and greedily push you to do unnecessary surgery. Dr. Byun is not like this he is straightforward about the status of your teeth, provides information about how to maintain healthy teeth and will only do procedures that are necessary. \r \r I highly recommend Dr. Steve Byun. more

Dr. Byun has been taking care of my teeth for 5 years and I'd have to say he's the best dentist I've ever had. Not only that the entire staff is awesome. They've always been upfront about what's going to happen and also what my insurance and financial arrangements are. Highly recommended! more

Staff knows me by first name, professional and experienced hygenists. Dr. Byun has done extensive work for me, and always been straight forward and insightful about all aspects of my dental health, what work needs to be done, and what doesn't. Honest, friendly, professional, and dedicated to my dental needs. Highly reccommended. more

I'm very pleased with Dr. Byun 10/5/2005

I found Dr. Byun's practice after having concern that my previous dentist was being less than honest about my dental prognosis. During my search to locate a new dentist I spoke with many friends and a few different doctors in the downtown area of San Francisco. Dr. Byun was highly recommended and I felt comfortable with my decision after speaking with him directly- he is sincere, open, and friendly. Since my decision I've had several visits to Dr. Byun's office; ranging from general checkups and cleanings, to fixing a crown from my previous dentist. Each visit has been great! Dr. Byun and his staff are very gentle, courteous, and caring. I'm very pleased with Dr. Byun and recommend him on a regular basis. more

Extreme Makeover!! 5/31/2005

I've actually been a patient at Rincon Dental for a few years-can't imagine going anywhere else. The staff and the doctors are awesome-not only are they professional but they are great people as well. They've always taken care of me and made sure that my needs were always met. Anyway..... I finally had porcelain veneers placed on my teeth and I LOVE THEM!! Dr. Byun did such an awesome job on them-no more small chipped teeth!! Pros: very skilled, close to work more
