Wendy is Worth it 1/5/2011

Wendy has prepared my taxes well over a decade. She is efficient, stays up to date with the latest tax laws and her fee is reasonable and in my case, less than H&R Block. \r \r Regarding the previous bad review: She is an accountant, not a magician. If you give false numbers, trying to scam the government to get a larger rebate, that's not Wendy's fault. However, if you want an accountant who will work with you and treat you like a person, not a number in a long line of cattle, contact Wendy. more

Accounting/taxes at its best 3/2/2009

I've used Wendy for years. She is always up to date with the never-ending tax laws. When using Wendy's firm or any accounting firm,the info you provide is the only basis she can use on you tax form. The other review I just read for her was terrible.Unfortunately,ignorance is not a tax deduction.This person must of inflated some deductions thinking it would work to get extra money back, GUESS WHAT, the gov't checks the tax returns, if you dream up stuff to give your accountant...the gov't will only send what you are owed. Let's blame the accountant !!! When in reality you should ""look in the mirror"" to find the cause. H&R Block was created for folks just like the previous reviewer...you might even SAVE money more

Go with a CPA 3/26/2007

We soon received our returns in the mail, 1500 less than what Wendy said we would receve, along with a bill from Wendy. She wouldn't return our phone calls after that.\r Go with a CPA. \r Don't waste your time, OR money. more
