Buy RIte Thrift affiliated w/ a Charity Organization? 1/13/2012

I have shopped at Buy Rite Thrift over the years.They have a good selection of merchandise however,their prices have gone up over the years. Most people shop @ thrift stores to either save money or to help fund a good cause.I don't know why they charge so much for used ,donated items.I've seen items that are higher there than you could purchase it brand new somewhere else.The store hasn't been as good as it had been when at the Tully Road address.They seem to get most, if not all of their merchandise through donations there.. THE best Thrift Store in the Area 12/14/2011

This is the best thrift store in the area. It is the biggest. Very clean, very organized. You can tell the employees are worked hard. They have good prices most of the time. However, they do price according to the item. So you may find a high-end name brand jacket or something, and they may want $20 for it. But at the same time, like I said, their pricing employees don't always get it right and you'll find antiques for a really good price. The clothing selection is great. LOTS of newer clothes...name brands. LOTS of shoes and guy clothes/shoes as well. They even get some brand new close-out items for other stores sometimes. You could hang out at this store all the time and never get all the way through it. They are just really WELL stocked, constantly bringing in new items. Pros: null Cons: null more

Can I give a 0 rating? 10/13/2009

I don't know what happened to this store about a year ago as It has gone stright down hill. The floor personal don't help at all and are sometimes 'down right rude". You will find the personal talking and telling off color stories laughing with each other and it seem as though they resint it if you disturb them for some. help. The floor supervisor is rude and talks down to the customers and even correctes the floor personal in front of customers. All in all it is a very unplesent atmosphere. I LOVE THIS PLACE 5/25/2008

I am a thrift store junkie and out of all the ones I have visited in the Modesto area BUY RITE is definately the best. The store is very clean and organized. They also have a vast selection of quality new & used merchandise to choose from. I really appreciate the helpful and friendly staff but best of all they have some great bargains. I would highly recommend this store because although I consider myself to be pickier than most, I don't think I have ever left this store without a treasure of some type. As far as thrift stores go I would say this one is worth checking out! more
