I have been taking my three dogs and 1 cat to Buttercup Veterinary Hospital for over 7 years. I have found them to be a very compassionate, caring group of people. I have seen Dr. Corcoran, Dr Schmidt, and Dr Pittman. Julie and Leslie are the best techs ever. They have always treated my pets with the greatest of kindness and compassion. Thanks to their great care they caught my girl dogs heart disease early and medications are giving her extra days. I will always use them and I highly recommend them to anyone. more

I love this place! 2/15/2012

I have been bringing my pets here for about a year now. The staff is so friendly. After my dog's dental cleaning, the DOCTOR called me the next day to see how he was doing. I will never take my pet's anywhere else. more

Do NOT go here 2/6/2012

My dog was very sick with distemper. They wanted me to pay $250 for a test to diagnose it, but when I went to another vet they said it was pointless since there was no other disease that caused facial ticks like our puppy had and they were 100% sure it was distemper. Glad I didn't get suckered into paying for an unncessary test at Buttercup. They also made me come back to the clinic to get a dosage for a medication I had to buy elsewhere instead of just telling me over the phone. I bought exactly what they told me to get, and they had my dog's weight because she had been there earlier that day for a checkup. I ended up waiting for 25 minutes in a room before having to leave. They called me to apologize but that I would have to come back and refused to give me the dosage over the phone. Then, I called another vet and got the dosing with no problem. In short, they want to charge you an arm and a leg for unnecessary costs and have no consideration for your time. I'm taking my pet's care elsewhere. more

THE BEST VET I HAVE EVER USED 8/25/2011

About 4 weeks ago my dog that had been in the family got very sick and died. When my teenagers found the dog outside in distress they scooped her up and rushed to Buttercup Creek Animal Hospital where Dr. Corcoran met them at the door and took the dog and tried everything to save her life without sucess. She did not ask any questions just did what she is trained to do as a Vet. She also helped my kids call my wife and myself without telling them that our dog had passed away. I need to add that this dog was treated for a large tumor about 6 years ago at this clinic and we were told that she would not last 6 months and we got almost 6 years. Anyway with all this being said they only charged me $5 for this effort to save my dog and gave me a very nice dog angle pin and to top that off we got a sympothay card signed by ALL the employees. By far the best vet ever! more

Take great care of my pets! 5/6/2011

I met Dr. Corcoran on an international flight about 8 years ago. Her nurturing nature came through when she offered to hold my non-stop crying baby to give me a break. When we got our first pet, I knew exactly who to take him to and Dr. Corcoran has never let us down. She takes each family very personally and has an insight that is second to none. I cannot say enough nice things about her or her clinic. I feel that my cat and dogs get the best care possible at Buttercup Creek. She's never in a rush, yet I never have to wait. That's a nice quality too! more

Bad bad vet hospital 12/26/2010

I had my 1st dog put down at this vet hospital. It cost over 600 bucks to put him down and creamate him. Pretty steep cost.I then got a new puupy, from a great breeder. All I needed was his rabie shot. The breeder had a puppy booklet with what shots and worm rx she gave the puppy, and the shot lables. I emailed this vet here, told her all my puppy needed was his rabie shot that was it. I then asked her to call the breeder and she did. The breeder again told this vet here that all the puppy needed was his rabie shot he have had every other shot and worm treatment. I went in and showed the desk the puppy's booklet of shots he had so far. I went in back and right away showed the lady vet the booklet. She went ahead and regave my puupy all his shots again and worm rx. I even went in next time with someone who only needed the dogs rabie shot.I told this vet we were going to a feed store to get the 5 or 7 way shoot for the dog. The vet bad mouth the feed store telling me the rx is never kept cold,,and to have the shots done by her. 32 bucks to drop my dog on a scale, get real,is what they charge. And they will do that everytime you come in for any reason charge you 32 bucks and more. Their prices are way way to steep.Bad mouthing feedstores that have been in business for almost 100 years, treating thousands of dogs, cats, horses, cattle and what not. This is very very wrong. If the feedstore that has been in business for almost 100 years, had not kept the rx cold. The store would have been shut down. It is a very very bad way of doing business, the way this vet did to me. I know she does it to everybody. people ned to go find a better and more honest vet than this place. All this vet cares about is making a buck for herself. And taking business away from feed stores and other vets who have been in business for way way longer than Buttercup creek animal hospital. Good luck. more

Best Animal Hospital Ever! 12/1/2010

Having always owned dogs, I have used countless vet hospitals. Buttercup Creek is hands down the most professional, efficient, and convenient place to bring my pets. I especially appreciate Dr. Schmidt, although the rest of the staff and doctors are pretty darn great too! more
