My first day in the apartment the toilet began leaking after a flush. Upon calling the super he came quickly (the one and only time this ever happened without calling the Police or the Borough of Health) and he fixed it by propping a 2X4 in between the wall and the water resovoir.
I cannot express how incompetent the superintendent is with any degree of accuracy. I waited a year to get a replacement spray nozzle for the kitchen sink...and that was without installation. I've had leaks in the kitchen window for years and nothing has been done. I had to call the Borough of Health to get my Water Heater replaced (no hot water for 3 weeks in the dead of winter no less).
The person who wrote before me is absolutely right...they don't care about you once you sign on the dotted line. They only respond to local officials and/or the threat of calling them. There are better deals out there...stay away...or come by and ask some of the tenants if they feel the same (so far everyone I've met here has had the same problems).
I've also heard from past tenants who have left that they try and wiggle their way out of giving you back your security deposit. The corporate office is a joke, good luck getting anywhere with them...they could care less too...unless you server them a subpoena. Once again, stay away, I would reccomend this place to my enemies let alone my friends.
I half to give this place 1 star...truth be told it deserves 1/2.
