Drove there on a Friday evening and arrived at about 5:55 according to my cell phone and my wife's cell. I realize that the sign reads closed at 6:00, but when we arrived an employee was standing at the door and said ""Sorry but we just turned off the cash register, we close at six"". There were still customers in the store who were in the middle of paying, i could see them through the large glass windows! Besides, if you can turn a key, you can turn on a cash register!! To be honest we drove to fred meyers on highway 14 and purchased some awesome steaks for less money. I think i will just skip the Boys, and go right to the Man (Fred) from now on! These guys run an excellent business. I have been treated extremely well everytime I have been there(about 5 times). These guys have the absolute best pepperoni in the area. We drive from Hood River to bring all of our game to these guys for processing. Keep up the good work guys. more

I have had my big game processed there for years and they treated me very well all the time i go in there and one of there guys behide the meat counter is one of the best helper i had ever had in my life hes name is ernie i would tell my own mom to go there more

Butcher boys has great meat and service I have always been treated well and would recomend them to others. I have had wild game processed there and was pleased with the quick turn around and high quality. if you have under a certain amount of wt your game will be batched with others which I wasnt happy about until I saw them turn away two animals while I was there because they were not up to their standards. The employees were rude, and acted as if they didn't want to help. When I arrived too late to pick-up my processed game meat, a young employee gave me a wise-guy smile and waved at me though the locked door- no way to treat a customer! Game meat is not custom processed if under a certain weight, so your meat just gets mixed in with everyones. Butcher Boys is the best place I have found in my years of hunting to get deer, elk and other big game processed. The staff is very helpful and they will even load your game meat into your car for you. What they can do with their recipies for sausage, summer sausage, pepperoni and other assorted meat treats will make you satisfied year round. more

We took our wild game in to have pepperoni and summer sausage made. I went and picked it up and when we got home we noticed the pepperoni said PEPPER on it and we ordered TERIYAKI. So I called them and they pulled the sales slip and said yep you sure did order TERIYAKI. So he said to bring it back in and they would replace it with TERIYAKI. So I drove back to Vancouver which is 45 miles one way from my house gave them back the PEPPER peperoni and they came out and gave me another bag, but I did not check it because I figured they could swap 4 packages of pepperoni. So guess what I pull them out once I get home and once again they gave me PEPPER. OH MY GOSH!!!!! So now I get to drive back into Vancouver 90 miles round trip to once again try and get my correct order. Not once did they offer to give us a discount so I am going to ask for some kind of compensation when I go back in. We have drove a total of 180 miles and still do not have what we ordered after tomarrow it will be a total of 270 miles and the last time I looked gas was not cheap. Another thing I was woundering is they tell me that they will swap the PEPPER for the TERIYAKI but this is wild game we are talking about so are they giving me someone elses or do they always have wild game laying around or am I getting beff??? Butcher Boys is a great place to buy and process meat! You can find chicken, beef and pork there. They take debit and credit cards (as well as cash but I'm not sure about checks) so payment is easy! They're friendly and treat you well while you're there. (They love to see my baby... when I have her with me, they say how cute she is and help me carry out things.)
