Bushwhacker Restaurant

It took over an hour to get served, and when we did (there were three of us) we all ordered the sirloin. Upon arrival the three plates, which were touted as being 8 oz steaks, had vastly different sized portions. Mine was close to 8 oz, but the smallest was less than half the size of mine. When I mentioned this to the server, she said ""They shrink when we cook them well done..."" Well o'k, maybe a couple of percent, but not 50%. I will not return. more

In Port Angeles for a long weekend and after a long day trip to the Hoh Rain Forest we were looking for a quick seafood dinner on our return. The Bushwhacker provided that, and more. The calamari was very crisp, lightly breaded and fried and came out quickly after our orders were placed. The wait staff was attentive and very accomodating to one member of our party who was on a restricted diet. The fish and chips was also light and fresh, and two people were pleased to have selected the Seafood Bubble (go and see). The triple berry cobbler was a nice finish to an enjoyable meal. Pros: Excellent fish and pasta dishes, great comfortable decor and very hospitable staff Cons: A bit of a lag between apetizers and dinner, but relax. It's worth it. more

I've been eating here for years. Same plate. Price keeps creeping up & amount of food keeps creeping down. After dinner I could have eaten a $5.00 ice cream but decided to go home & eat a sandwitch. For $19.95 (Taiwan Shrimp 6 pcs & a potato) I should be stuffed. Probably the last I'll eat here. Sorry. Pros: service, parking, fresh food Cons: , left hungry more
