The campground is rather quiet most of the time, some holiday weekends can get a little crowded and loud. Most of the lots are kept in good condition, some need to be tended to a little better. Bath houses could use some repairs especially the one closet to the daily campsites. Entertainment is offered on some weekends, such as dances with bands or DJ's, this is a nice bonus. Also there are some other planned events throughout the season such as carnivals for the children, community yard sales and fishing tournaments which again is nice. My husband and I enjoy coming down to the Park but one of the main reasons we come is to take our boat out onto the river and the bay to go fishing but unfortunately the inlet to get you into the river from the campground is very, very shallow and many empty promises have been made by the management as to when it will be dredged, the truth would be nice once in a while. Also the roads are in pretty bad shape, lots of potholes that fill with water after rains making it unpleasant to ride your golf cart around. Both my husband and I own small businesses and we pride ourselves in taking care of our customers, wish all businesses felt the same. We haven't had our lot at the campground for very long, about a year and a half, so we will give it another year and see what happens, if the management improves and we see indications that when they say they will do something that they follow through we might continue to stay on, if not we will look for another campground that prides itself in treating it's customers as if their business depends on it!

Cons: not very well maintained, poor roads, have to wait for high tide to take boat out and in
