We enjoyed our day a Busch Gardens, but won't return due to the allowance of smoking thoughout the park. We have been spoiled by Disney, where smoking is only allowed in designated areas. I moved to Tampa 1 year ago from the ohio valley region which boasts alot of fun theme parks. I am proud to say that I have the best theme park in my own backyard. Busch Garden's offers its visitors the best package in one park. Fast rides, entertaining shows, the most beautiful animal exhibits around, and great food to satisfy any hunger. Busch Gardens is the best place for everyone in the family. The rideaholics will love the rollercoasters to the water rides. The younger kids will have fun in the Land of Dragons play area. Their is also many shows and attractions for the tamer members in your group who prefer to relax and enjoy their day. The ice skating show is great for all to see. The FestHaus is a good place for everyone to cool off, eat lots, and enjoy the daily entertainment. Also, for those of age, the Hospitality House offers the best tasting beer around!!! Although theme parks seem to always have long lines and expensive foods . . . well Busch Gardens is no exception I suppose, but an obvious worthwhile adventure for the family. Highly recommended Pros: Ample Parking, Friendly Employees, Fantastic Attractions Cons: Expensive Food, Long Lines more

Rollercoster Coasting & Beer Toasting 7/23/2002

For out of town guests Busch Gardens has something for everyone and every age group. A great Kiddy land for the kids, rollercoasters and games for the kids/teens, informative and creative animal exhibits for the intellectual adult, and lastly, the Beer Tour along with the numerous Beer tastings make the visit perfect for an Adult who enjoys beer and good times. Boring 7/11/2002

This is a great park if you like coasters. Animal exhibits have taken third place and no longer are a feature worth seeing at this park. The water rides are outdated and need a serious upgrade. Lines are usually long and there is a lot of cutting in line. Park is kept clean. Food is poor when compared to other parks. Childrens area is nice and has been updated with new rides. Pros: coasters, Good Parking, Childrens area Cons: Food, Little ride selection, Bad neighborhood more

Better going somewhere else 6/21/2002

I've lived in Tampa for about 14 years and I have been to BG plenty. When I was young there wasn't much to do, then they added new rides, but at the same time took a lot away. I can't say I would recommend this theme park for a good time. There's really not much to do for young adults. An older crowd of seniors may enjoy the shows, but I like going to a theme park to ride rides, BG has 2 roller coasters worth riding, and maybe a pirate ship, if it's running. more
