Recently, I thought I had an infestation of bed bugs due to some suspicious looking bites I found all over my legs every time I woke up. After spending hours on the computer researching these insects and stressing about the situation that was now becoming more and more urgent to me, my spouse called one of the more "prestigious" exterminators in Scottsdale. (Mind you they were not Burns Pest Elimination.) A man came to our house, did a quick 15 minute scan with a flashlight around the ceilings, walls, mattress, and furniture in both rooms (we live in an apartment), said he hadn't seen any trace of bed bugs (feces, blood stains, shell casings, ect.) and concluded with more of a notion that 'the proof is in the pudding' - that they were there because i was visibly getting bitten by something. He ended up writing an $830.00 quote to treat the entire house, at which point I figured it would be best to consult a couple more exterminators. (We later found that treating a house for bed bugs without having found any actual evidence is illegal. ) Which then brought us to Burns! Clay came over with a bed bug sniffing dog which lead him around the entire aparment. This man REALLY took his time searching under the carpets, turning over furniture, and looking through every little inch, crevice, and crack with his flashlight. He found no evidence, however he did give us plenty of tips, facts, and even showed us some bugs he had found and captured from a previous house which he had in a plastic bag. He even talked with us about other bugs we suspect could be biting, and also how to get rid of those annoying little bugs that fly out of your drain. This guy KNEW HIS STUFF! This was our first time dealing with anything like this as far as the bugs go, and hopefully the last, but to anyone in need of a good service, helpful knowledge, and experience- I would recommend Burns Pest Elimination more

I happen to had a house built in the middle of Black Widow territory, so when they infested my garage I was forced to call an exterminator. Burns is scheduled to come out once a month on Saturday. I need to be home because they spray inside and out. I have the same exterminator every time, so that is comforting, but he is suppose to be at my house at a scheduled time, and often he's very late, sometimes two or three hours late. Not real convenient on the weekend when I have things to do. I haven't seen a spider since they started spraying so they do good work. They are also careful around my pets. For that reason I do not let them spray upstairs or near the hay box in the garage, and the exterminator is very careful about that, for which I am thankful. They also take care of my yearly weed control spray. They have a guarantee, so if I see weeds I just call them. I've had to call twice, but they came out the next day in both cases. I have one bush I wish they would spray a little closer more
