German Village Gem 2/28/2009

not sure where the gentleman claiming BLC is $2-3 more than at home is from; comparing prices all over CMH has Jeff and the guys anywhere from $0.40 to $2.00 a stick cheaper than other shops. As for stale and bitter, I find that difficult to believe; the humidor at BLC is checked and maintained daily, and the smell in the humidor is tobacco, not exhaust fumes, nothing to change the flavour from regular tobacco to sour and bitter. Pros: lots of parking, good selection, good prices Cons: less support for pipe-smoking than for cigars more

Best Cigars and Prices in Columbus 2/26/2009

Burning Leaf- Ah! Smell it, smoke it, enjoy it. This is the best place to buy premium cigars at the best prices in Columbus- hands down. The cigars are kept at optimum humidity and the service is courteous, professional, and as knowledgeable as the wise older cigar shops around town. These guys know their stuff and are very helpful. I've been to most of the cigar shops around Columbus and always find my cigars from Burning Leaf are perfectly humidified for an enjoyable and relaxing smoke. So whether it's to take a break during these tough times, or to celebrate an occasion, or just to celebrate a good day, come on in for excellent cigars and good conversation. It's well worth the visit! Pros: Excellent selection and prices. Great service and always ample parking Cons: Not open on Sundays! Currently no Litto Gomez or Don Pepin Garcia in humidor... more

better off buying from the gas station 6/17/2008

Bought 2 cigars for myself and a friend, both were good brand and style and I have had each of them in the past. The first thing I noticed was that they were 2-3 dollars more than my shop back home, secondly they were both VERY dry even though we got them out of the walk-in, and had bitter stale flavors. If this had been my first cigar it surely would have been my last! Pros: convenient location, easy to find Cons: walk-in humidor was dry and smelled of smoke, cigars were stale. more
