David Gendelman is one of the most caring, patient and knowledgeable ophthalmologists I know. I have visited his office several times for everything from getting my glasses/contacts prescriptions to having an eye infection treated. He takes his time, and explains everything in great detail. It is hard for me to find enough words of praise and love for David Gendelman, He is a true miracle worker! All my life I was nearly blind in one eye. I could barely see an eye chart with it, much less read any lines. Numerous eye doctors in the past told me there was nothing that could be done. Yet today, just one day after cataract surgery, I can already read very fine print with that eye and still cannot believe it! I thank God to David Gendelman more

I became a loyal customer after asking someone at the supermarket where they'd purchased their rad frames. \r \r Since I was due for a checkup, I booked an appointment online. I came in and the doctor that helped me was great. Really personable, informative, and super sweet. After my exam I went to pick out my glasses and the girl at the front was spot-on as far as what style looked good on me. I tried a few but ended up going with a really nice Burberry frame. The glasses where limited edition so she had to ordered them for me and when I came to pick them up, she sized them to fit perfectly. more

I went here without expectation as I developed severe photophobia. I was given an appointment right away with Dr. Kwon. When they found retinal lesions, they got me an appointment the next day with Dr. Gendleman. The staff is always friendly and they saw me right away when I had worsening symptoms. They're always busy but I always feel like they make time and are very professional. hey do have several offices and I've been to Burlington and Wilmington and the staff bounces around depending on the day of the week. Anyway, judge this place by the doctors, who are excellent. more

Dr. Kruger's ethics, professionalism and engaging manner should be a template for the medical profession. I've been coming to him for the past two years and have recommended him to all my peers. He's the greatest as is everyone in the office, everyone here's engaging, courteous, and always helpful. \r \r Although I typically go to Dr. Kruger, I schedule an appointment with Dr. Zuckerman after experiencing discomfort in my right eye and Dr. Kruger was away on vacation for a couple of days. When I me with Dr. Zuckerman, she treated me with the utmost respect and care. This office is filled with people who care about their patients and make sure to offer exceptional customer service. more

After consulting with Dr. Kruger I decided to have lasik surgery. I was petrified of having the procedure done but Dr. Kruger's wonderful bedside manner put me at ease. \r \r First he examined my vision and after he explained everything about the surgery from start to finish. He truly listened to my worries and managed to put my concerns at ease.\r \r The day of the procedure I was really nervous but he took time to talk to me and make sure I was comfortable. He gave me a few minutes to relax and think about it and assured me everything would be perfect. His care and attentiveness put me at ease and throughout the procedure he would give me positive reinforcements by telling me, what he was doing, and that I was doing great. If it wouldn't have been because of Dr. Kruger I don't think I would have been able to go trough this since I'm terrified of any sort of surgical operation. \r \r The surgery itself was painless and quick and I'm glad I put my fears aside and followed through. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and to have rid my glasses. more

They’re the best hands down...I had started developing an bump on my eye that was really itchy. I went to an optometrist I found online. I went, consulted with him, he told me it was an infection and prescribed me eye drops. A week later, I still have the same problem. I called for a follow up and they said they would take me but would have to pay another $150 for a consultation. Ridiculous...\r \r I was frustrated and in search of someone who knew what they were doing. My cousin recommended I try Eye Associates, she’s been using them for years so I decided to give them a try. I called for and appointment and they scheduled me the next day. When I showed up the girl at the front desk was very friendly.\r \r I consulted with Doctor Gendelman who was very professional, helpful, and had a warm demeanor.\r When I told him of my previous experience I got the feeling that he generally thinks other eye doctors don't know what they're doing and I share that feeling based on experience. \r \r He conducted a more extensive exam, more than the light test the other doctor did. He explained everything to me in grave detail and gave me another prescription. I started taking the prescription that day and by the next day the itchiness had gone down as well as the swelling. Three days later, I was back to normal. I’m so happy I went to them. I could have kept going to the other doctors and never have the problem fixed. It’s a relief knowing there’s still doctors that know what they’re doing. more

I love their customer service. Last time I came I couldn’t decide on what contacts to purchase. Dr. Smail let me try both and scheduled me for a follow up to see which of the two I preferred. My follow up was quick, I told him which pair of contacts I liked most  and he ordered me my years supply and  gave me a rebate to help me same money. \r more

This is truly a one of a kind Eyeglass store and i would recommend it to anyone. Upon losing my glasses in a river, i was able to run over to Burlington Eye Assoc and receive a quick replacement. I had my prescription faxed in minutes and in only 30 minutes, the Ophthalmologist had made a brand new pair of glasses for me. I've never worn glasses/contacts my entire life until very recently. \r \r I started noticing that my vision wasn't as good and decided to make an appointment to have it checked-out.\r I called to make an appointment and the woman over the phone was very sweet. After I made an appointment, I found out I had to go out of town so I called back and asked if there was any way they could take me in sooner. The woman I spoke to said she had a cancellation and she would be happy to take me in that same day.\r \r I went in and felt welcomed. I was really nervous because I didn't know what to expect but doctor Waheed was very gentle. She conducted a thorough exam and went over everything with me. She explained in great detail and made sure I understood everything. She was very patient and pleasant. more

No more Contacts, no more glasses!!!\r \r I thought there was no hope for me, I've wanted to have lasik surgery for a long time but my corneas are too thin to have this procedure done. After being disappointed with my last doctor I found Eye Associates. I came in to get my contacts prescription refilled and I expressed my sadness about not being able to have lasik surgery, Dr. Kruger said I could probably qualify for PRK surgery. I made a follow up appointment and he explained everything to me. He was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. \r \r From what he said, PRK was more discomforting than lasik, but I've never had lasik and I didn't care if it meant no more glasses or contacts. I did have discomfort for a few days after the surgery but it was beyond worth it, best investment I've ever made. Totally worth it. Thank you Dr. Kruger and to everyone at the office that made me feel totally relaxed, you all made me feel like I had someone to turn to. more

I was very apprehensive about having corrective eye surgery but because I'm a swimmer, contacts and glasses are a great inconvenience and I thought consulting with a doctor was worth a shot. \r \r I made an appointment per my mothers suggestion who had the surgery done. When I came in, the staff made me feel very comfortable and doctor Gendelman was very professional, thorough and gave me a great sense of comfort. He examined my eyes to make sure I qualified for the surgery, after he go my results he told me my eyes were healthy enough to have the surgery if I decided to go forward with it.\r \r The day of the surgery, the Dr. Gendelman consulted with me again to make sure I wasn't nervous, he made me feel incredibly comfortable. \r \r The procedure itself took about 15 minutes. After the surgery, then staff was incredibly accommodating. \r \r It took a full day for my vision to adjust but now that's it's perfect, I feel incredible. more

Burlington was highly recommended to me by a friend after I told her I was interested in having lasik surgery. After the exam, he addressed my concerns, answered all my questions, and was very patient with me. I felt like he listened to me and didn't rush me out of the office. \r \r The day of the surgery, the staff was very kind to me, they made sure I was relaxed and assured me everything would be perfect. After the surgery, which I was surprised it was as quick as it was, they placed me in a room for me to relax and arranged for transportation since I didn't have anyone to pick me up. The staff is great!! Easy to make appointments either by phone or online. Large selection of eye glasses. When shopping for glasses, you don’t have someone hovering over you pushing you to make a purchase. Easy to get a hold of your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. more
