Not a ""Christian"" school 9/2/2008

Burlington Christian Academy is a ""religious"" school, not a ""Christian"" school. Its educational practices and beliefs are based on classical liberalism. neoorthoxy, and process theology. Principles taught here mirror what is taught in the public school; in fact, students would probably be better off attending a public school where they would be aware that the knowledge being poured into them is from a secular viewpoint. At Burlington Christian Academy, parents and students are deceived into believing that children are being taught from a Christian worldview. more

Unique and Excellent 2/16/2006

Interdenomiinational, progressive, evangelistic Christian school. Teachers are well-educated (many have masters), as is administration. Head Administrator has two master degrees. Perfect place for high academics (89% of 2006 5th graders qualified for Duke Talent Program), consistent and nurturing values. Students dress in modern clothes. Students are cheerful, energetic and happy. Excellent Phys Ed program. Kids are outside at least once every day. Strong music and spanish as well. Pros: Tuition, Administration, Nurturing more
