My family is so grateful to have found Burley's; we can finally travel with the peace of mind that Wendy will give my dogs more than adequate play time and lots of love. The pet ""hotels"" that we have used in metro-Portland did not provide our dogs with enough stimulation and play time, probably resulting in increased anxiety and mischievousness. Burley's has acres of (enclosed) land for our dogs to play in. By limiting the number of dogs they watch, our dogs get plenty of one-on-one attention time with the family members. Although some may complain that the drive to Burley's is a little far, I think it's completely worth the quality of service and experience versus the city kennels where dogs only play indoors (plus, the drive is quite beautiful).
Pros: acreage/space, family-owned, flexibility
Cons: can be a challenging drive
