We ordered a new Ice machine through Burkett. It arrived in new condition, the freight company driver was patient and helpful in unloading the ice machine. We look forward to doing business with them again, we saved nearly $1500 buying it through Burkett vs local distributor. Thanks for the good experiance. more

We are in the process of opening a hot dog restaurant and after working with several restaurant equipment suppliers have chosen Burkett. They are quick to respond to questions, provide solutions to problems and suggest alternate items. Very friendly and easy to work with! more

Eager to please 4/5/2011

I opened a pizza place about a month ago and ordered majority of my equipment through this company. I was pleased with the whole experience due to the effort put forth by their team and president. I needed equipment for an entire store and I gave them no heads up, and they came through for me. There were a couple things they missed on my first delivery, but it was re-sent out to me within 1-2 days. The company president gave me his cell number to ensure I got what I needed on-time so my store could open the doors on-time as expected. For me, that kind of commitment doesn't go unappreciated, I will continue to purchase from Burkett in the future. more

HORRIBLE BUSINESS 3/21/2011

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Our business purchased ""refurbished"" ovens from this company and WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN! The ovens were nasty!!!! Not to mention they were not labeled correctly! They were labeled for 220 3 phase and when we hooked them up to the electricity labeled, they blew! When contacting this company regarding this they told us to call someone to fix it. They paid for the labor on the fix and left us with a bill over $3000! Unless you want nasty-unproperly labeled ovens...I would be looking else were!!!! more

Good Experience 2/7/2011

I opened a bar and was told to take a look at Burkett's by several of my business friends. When I called I talked to AJ, the sales manager. He was really knowledgable and talked in a no nonsense way- which I really appreciated. A lot of the items I needed were cheaper here than any where else- another plus. I ordered several new and used items. I received my shipment a couple of days before the estimated arrival date. No problems! Overall a good experience! more

SCAMMERS and LIARS CONTROL FREAKS 1/20/2011

yes these people are CROOKS, and we strongly urge you not to buy equipment from them. One of their representative, (name removed due to threats) is a solid idiot thief and will not help you once you get broken equipment shipped to you after waiting weeks or months for your delivery. He will lead you on and then he will abandon you. Also, please note that they use YRC deliveries and other delivery services and they are in on their SCAM. PLEASE DO NOT USE BURKETT for your own protection and find a different company. All people who have been hurt by this company should get together and sue them for their practices. more

Do Not Buy Used Equipment 8/4/2008

My experience with Burkett was and is a disaster - they claim ""refurbished"" but ship dirty, broken equipment and try to deal with the junk after they have your money. I spent almost $8000 on 2 lincoln pizza ovens - shipped to me and NEITHER OVEN WORKED. It has been 8 months ago and I still have a broken oven, broken promises from Burkett, and I am the s ucker. BEWARE of used equipment from these guys - go with another reputable company - Do not believe that the equipment these guys sell is really checked out. They ship it to you and try to deal with the problems later. I have owned a pizza shop and bakery for 8 years and this was by far my worst experience in doing business with equipment suppliers.
