I wish I could put zero stars to indicate the experience I had with Burke Electric of Cincinnati. I called Burke Electric to complete some electrical work needed to complete a kitchen install. We called Burke Electric and had Dustin(owner of Burke Electric) come out and give us an estimate on the work we were looking to have done. Dustin came out on time, and called after he left the house to give me an estimate over the phone. Even though I new that the estimate was double then what other electrician would charge I felt like he was going to do a good job and I will have now worries... I agreed to the price and we set up a time and date for Dustin to do the install. Dustin showed up on the day of the install and called me because he had some concerns. I called back only to get his wife? I thought ok... This might be Dustin's secretary or business partner fine. She explained to me that Dustin did not estimate the job correctly and it is going to take more time and cost more to complete the work. Needless to say I was not happy at this point. I asked to speak to Dustin and she replied that he was at another customer's house. So he walked of the job? I said when he gets a chance can you have him call me ASAP. Approximately an hour later I receive a call from Dustin. He started to go into detail that he didn't look at the job correctly and it was going to take more material and he is going to have to bring in a helper and the cost would go up. At this point I just wanted it to be done so I asked ok... how much? and I quote ""AHH UMM Well going to need an helper and more material...AHHH UMM..."" I stopped him right there and said do you want to do the job or do I need to call someone else? He said ""yeah we should go the route"". I was willing to pay what ever it took to get the job done, and Dustin ducked out and walked off the job. Thanks Dustin, and Burke Electric!
