I went to Burger King in Cedar Park with my children, ages 6 and 4. I ordered both of them kids meals and I thought that I would try the steakhouse mushroom and swiss burger combo. When I received this sandwich I opended the wrapping and immediately noticed it looked nothing like the picture on the menu. It had three (3) small mushroom pieces and just a few (maybe 6) small pieces of the crunchy (really soggy) onions. I took the sandwich back up to the front counter and spoke with an employee named JOE who took my order. I began to explain that this was not the sandwich I ordered. JOE, who was extremely rude told me, when I began to explain about the mushrooms, ""they are under the cheese"". At this point, I lifted up the cheese and showed him the three (3) mushroom pieces and then asked him about the supposed to be crispy onion strips. JOE'S response was "" You don't have to go into all of that, I will make you another burger."" At this point I was furious and found JOE'S comments to be totally uncalled for. The lady in line behind me then spoke up and stated ""What did he just say?"" Of course I told her and she could not believe it. I then asked to speak to the manager and believe it or not, JOE stated he was the manager. I then asked for the real manager and JOE then stated that the managers name was DAVID ALLEN and we was not working. I would suggest to anyone not to order this sandwich unless you really want to be disappointed because the sandwich that they re-made for me, although it had more than three (3) mushrooms pieces, it still had absolutely no more crispy onion pieces than the first. I wish I would of taken a photo of this ridiculous sandwich to show DAVID ALLEN when I speak to him in the morning regarding the behavior and attitude of his shift manager and the preparation of this sandwich. The time I placed my order was 5:16pm on 11/17/2008 order number #227 - 0954.
Pros: We were the only ones there so we could sit anywhere we desired.
Cons: Rude employees and undesirable food preparation.
