Yesterday 3-30-09 in the afternoon I visited Burger King in Plaza Carolina with my grandbabies and daughter. The service was very slow even though they were almost empty. Two people ahead of me and I saw a table of 4pp already eating. After our order was finally ready there weren't enough fries and the male employee offered to take them to the table. We sat, we ate and no fries. As we are eating my granddaughter buys a bottled water when she gave the change I noticed we were charged tax on it.
When I finish my food with no fries I went to the counter and told the Manager young girl early 20's that i never got my fries, also you chargesd tax on the water, I told her check with DACO cause I'm sure you do not charge tax on water. I said that's one of the few things we don't pay tax on/
She said well DACO checks our cash register, I repeated check with them beacause as far as I know you don't.
This "Manager" is the rudist person I have ever encountered. She was histerical yelling at me after she scolded her employees she said now I have to ajust your ticket to give you your money and you will not get the value of the fries but the difference on the price of the Combo. My daughter was a few tables away from the counter and she could hear this "Manager" yell out! I was more embarassed for her humilliating her employees in front of me than her yelling.
Granted I have shoes older than this kid!
The fact is: Train your people better! what happen with the client is always right? 'Why do I get punished for asking for what I believe is in my right. I just wanted a refund and I just pointed something out to her.
Teach you "managers" some respect to the clients after all my comb y my water does pay for there salary.
I'm not gonna get any richer for a $1.55 or the .11 the overcharged on the water. But shame, shame on you for the way you treat the senior citizen.
