Burger Joe's

After an hour and 15 mins of placing the order, I had called and asked when the food would arrive and they said that the delivery person was on their way. Another 45 minutes went by and I called back and told them to cancel my order. They offered no apologies and told me to tell the delivery person when she gets here that we cancelled our order (like she doesn't have a cell phone?!?!). I just opted not to answer the door at all, even though its 2.5 hours later and she hasn't shown up anyway. Cons: EVERYTHING more

After 45 min. we called and were told the delivery driver was 5 min. from our apartment. After an hour we were told the same. After an hour and a half we were told the same. The management offered no apologies and were unremorseful. I love hamburgers but we will never order from them again and will spread the word far and wide to seek satisfaction elsewhere. Atlanta has too many good food joints to waste our time with crappy service and terrible delivery drivers. This is the worst delivery in Atlanta!!!!!!! 1 hour and 45 minutes to get cold nasty wilted lettuce and grease everywhere! I have seen the filthy and unsanitary conditions they put their workers through. They are being Sued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for forcing one of their drivers to handle BLOODY MEAT and then firing him for refusing to because of religious beliefs. They discriminate against employees to give you unhealthy food. I would stay away from this place if you want to stay healthy. The meat is allowed to sit out in the open for extended periods of time. more

I hate to make this sound like the other reviewers' comments, but it is obvious that Burger Joe's has no intention of fixing their problems. Food took forever to get here (more than 2 hours from time of placed order), it was cold when it arrived, and definitely did not live up to their hype. I don't know what their protocol is, but I received a call an hour after I placed my order asking for my CC number again. This place is ridiculous; I am located about 5-10 mins away. Customer service was unfriendly and untruthful; yes, they hung up on me as well. They should not advertise delivery if they actually can't deliver. They should not even be in business. It's true. While I enjoy the convenience of a hamburger and fries delivered to my home, the cold greasy lumps you get after waiting for a couple of hours (and we're two miles away!) makes it hardly worth the trouble. Our latest experience: We call, place order for delivery, wait two hours, call back, are told that they don't deliver to our house, even though they have delivered here before. We use Bank of America and therefore can see that they've already charged our visa. We ask them to reverse the charges. Instead, they charge our credit card again! It takes multiple phone calls to get the problem solved, and we never even got an apology. Try this place at your own risk. After waiting for approximately 1.5 hours for my order, I called to cancel my order as it was approaching 11pm. When I called, the manager hung up on me when I told him that I was cancelling my order. Unfortunately, he failed to get my name until I called back. After reading other reviews for Burger Joe's, at other locations, apparently it is normal to encounter extra long delivery times, poor service & cold burgers/fries.
