Went on September 18, 2010. We were sitting outside by the door. When food arrived, we noticed this little things walking around the table, ROACHES, we requested to be moved to another table. Our server went to that table and tried to clean it with water and soap. There was not even an apology. I wrote to the company via Website, they never replied, all we wanted was to express our concern and recommend to hire an exterminator service. more

Great burgers, a LOT of fried food! Stay away from the duck fat fries, though: greasy, no duck fat flavor, borderline burnt overcooked, unpleasant texture, a complete disaster! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 9/6/2010

Possibly the best burger I've ever had. A bit pricey... But the best burger I've had. more

This has to be the most perplexing place to me in South Florida. Good concept - how can you screw up burgers and beer? But the food is all mediocre at best. Mediocre bar food in itself is not a cardinal sin. But this place is always packed - to the point that you need to make reservations - for burger joint. I don't get it... 8 oz and shake shack are waaay better... more

This is the best burger I have ever had!\r I love the juicyness of the meat! Once you take the first bite, you can tell that it is not your cheap meat at the grocery store! They actually buy the good stuff!!! It great the variety that they offer and uniqueness!\r The service at the bar area varies, some days are friendly and some days I feel like I'm bothering them by being there. But it doesn't matter the food is worth it!!! more

The location I visit was in the Mary Brickell Village. This place is too expensive for what it is, a Burger. The service was amazing the beer was super cold but the food not so good. When cutting the burger a foul smell came out not sure why. The floor was super slippery and the smell inside wasn't pleasant. :( more

Definitely does not live up to the hype. Worst part was the roaches. When we brought it up to the waiter, he said they were "pets". Very expensive and mediocre at best. Not the best burger I've ever had. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 7/30/2010

Much hyped but not up to the hype. The burgers are very good but certainly not worth the price. What was disappointing and to which I really anticipating was the fries. I was dreaming about the Duck Fat Fries.....now I'm not! more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 7/26/2010

Definitely not cheap burgers, but you also definitely get what you pay for. Deep fried pickles were FANTASTIC, as was my burger (can't remember exact name, something about the devil). HIGHLY recommend!!! more

Not the cheapest place but the burgers are fantastic and the service was great! Ordered fried pickle slices, Turning Japanese burger, and The Hotel California burger. Simply outstanding! Service with a smile. I'll be back for sure. more

Great place 6/1/2010

I've been here a few times. Once just for drinks, once for dinner and again for lunch. AlI have to say is that it can be very busy at times, but the atmosphere is great (very upbeat) and it's a great place to have a beer and watch the game! Pros: Very popular, upbeat crowd, beautiful waitresses! Cons: Service can be very slow, particularly for dinner more

Where else can you get a $39 burger and feel like it's money well spent? Loved the duck fries and foie gras burger. We sat in the sports bar because the wait inside was 45 minutes. Good decision: service was friendly but not too chatty and the food was delicious. A very enjoyable, post-beach experience. more

Okay experience but really expected more because of the hype. App came out 5 min before our entree but it was good more

LOVE the burgers!!! the service in the restaurant is amazing! the bar, not so much. eat there quite often and would definitely keep eating there. looking forward to the 10 pound burger more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 2/26/2010

Delicious! I've eaten here several times and have not been dissatisfied at all by their food. The place gets busy and sometimes the wait staff aren't 100% on the ball. Still, in my opinion the food makes up for it. The fried foods are perfectly GBD and their burgers are juicy and of good quality meat. Surprisingly, they also make good soups. My one complaint would be that their Stairway to Heaven burger was not mindblowing. For $40, I expect to fall in love with a burger, get down on one knee and start making sweet, sweet love to it. Don't get me wrong, it was good but not $40 good. I'll continue to go here when I'm in the mood for quality burgers & fried friends (omg, fried mushrooms!!!). more

Sooo delicious. The basic burger is so tasty. You must also try the fried pickle chips with dill dip. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 2/1/2010

They overcooked the Kobe! I went with the stairway to heaven witch would have been heavenly except the medium rare was a overcooked.. Popcorn shrimp with truffle aoli was superb! The first time was right on, but this trip was a miss.. But I will definitely be back as this is one of the best places on Sobe.. more

Editorial review from Urbanspoon 1/21/2010

So what to get at a burger and beer joint?! Stick with the Kobe burger and a beer....stay away from lollipop tuna and the wings....also the belzebuth beer 8oz bottle. Service was good though the place was empty @7pm. more

I have never written a restaurant review and I registered the moment I got home from this awful place. First, we were told the wait was 20 minutes. After watching an empty table sit vacant for 5 minutes, we asked about it. I guess they forgot about it because they promptly sat us there. Second, my cousin chose three different beers from the menu before they finally had one he wanted. Third, because the beers on the menu do not have short descriptions about what kind of beer it is, I asked my waiter for suggestions, telling him I liked amber beers like Sam Adams or Chimay. He suggested a beer I had never heard of and told me it was a nice amber. It was a cider, not a beer at all!! Plus, the glass smelled of pure chlorine. The waiter himself made an awful face when I asked him to take a whiff. "Oh, that's smells really bad," he said. He said he would get me something else with the other waiters' help. I was brought a very dark beer, not an amber at all. It's a beer joint! They should be able to help out a customer who asks for a simple amber. Fourth, when the order arrived, they did not know which burger belonged to which person. Two more servers were brought in to decipher the order. Fifth, my five year old son's burger order was never placed. Six adults ate their burgers while the 5 year old sat empty-handed for 15 minutes. I asked for my burger to be medium well but it was medium rare. My mom's burger was practically raw, she asked for medium. The burgers did not taste like anything. Sixth, the servers never filled our water glasses. The honey mustard sauce my cousin asked for was brought after he finished eating. Finally, because the whole ordeal had taken so long, I had to get my son home without the desert included in his order. Also, the outdoor heater was broken where we sat so we were really cold. An awful experience. I am usually super easy, I have never asked for any food to go back to the kitchen in my life. I've never felt the need to write a review before but I'm hoping to save others from this experience. more
